Laser Gum Contouring

Cosmetic Dentistry

Don’t like your gummy smile or short teeth? The treatment known as a gingivectomy or clinical crown lengthening will immediately reduce tissue or straighten the gum line to make the teeth look more even.

We use the Waterlase laser as it is the most gentle dental laser of its kind. This gives us predictability as to where the gums stay while contouring and gives our patients the best postoperative results and healing experience.

Dr. Mahmood sculpts most gum tissues involved with crown and veneer cases for optimal aesthetics and profiles. Dr. Mahmood is an expert in Waterlase and comprehensive dental care, employing lasers for improved healing and far less post-operative pain.

If you’d like to learn about other options we have, feel free to visit our Cosmetic Dentistry hub page or contact us directly! Also, if you’d like to learn more about how our Waterlase laser can help you, visit our Laser Gum Bleaching page!
